Another quick morning paddle on the Rainbow River. Six of us gathered at a member’s home in Dunnellon and unloaded our boats at her private homeowners picnic area on the river, just outside the state park boundary. After unloading and prepping our boats we drove our cars down to the Blue Run trail head on CR 484 where her husband picked us up and returned us to the picnic area. We were out on the river by 10 am.
Map of our trip
I feel like I have described the Rainbow so many times, so today I’ll just include pictures of what we saw along the way.
