We made a quick trip down to the Florida Keys to pick up this little beauty. A Hurricane Phoenix 120 in very good condition. She’ll get her north Florida baptism this week on the Rainbow River.
BTW, I did a quick calculation and for gas, overnight stay in a motel, a couple of restaurant meals, a Tee-shirt to go with the orange boat, and boarding my dogs, the trip to pick up the kayak cost $30 more than I paid for the kayak! But we got to watch a beautiful sunset in Key Largo and chat with Monica and Frank Woll.
